Calabrian bergamot (citrus), the star of Earl Grey tea, comes from the thick peel of the fruit and creates spicy notes of various kinds of mandarin and neroli. Salty ambrox and mystical frankincense transport us to the coastal landscape. Ginger, lavender, Granny Smith apple, and rhubarb add a fruity and rounded touch to the heart. Alaskan cedar, a tree species from the cypress family, vetiver, synthetic musks, and tonka bean weave a dark backdrop that unconsciously holds the citrus cocktail together.
“A unique and joyful emotion that creates an accord very close to my heart, where the kumquat from the island of Corfu marries the Bergamot from Calabria, and where salty ambrox meets mystical frankincense, reminiscent of that part of the world where we are traveling with our senses,” is how Ermenidis describes it.
